In the world of exploitation what is scarce?— Dedication. — That is what is scarce. And dedication is synonymous with devotion.
What is the value of talking of Krishna? — It is the most valuable thing in the world. This is life-saving, life-giving nectar! It brings people back from the dead. — Cause to be alive in the world of exploitation is more or less to be dead to yourself, your actual self.
The pastimes of union left Braja-gopis hankering for more: not enough. So no amount of association brings cessation — as it's conventionally conceived — but more eagerness.
Give up all substitutes — for self and for God.
All this talk about love and affection, and being reciprocated — its target are just animated bodies. It's not towards what is animating the body, but just the body that's being animated. No atma-darshan or seeing of the soul-self.
The ultimate Reality is love and happiness, beauty, charm and sweetness — and what? — Personified. Those things don't exist as impersonal, primordial elements.— No, consciousness can not be divorced of personality — neither can love or happiness. They are not independent elements.
Krishna-prem is not a thing of this world, it's not the thing of the objective world. But it is the thing in the subjective world. And we are, innately, subjective agents, trying to transition from being riveted to objective world; external, objective notions of self toward the pure subjective plane. — Atma, paramatma world.
Without consciousness the Sun doesn't illumine anything. There is no observable illumination without an observer. So, what really is it? — It's atma that allows you to see. Atma is the sun and paramatma's the supreme sun, of which jiva's kiran — ray.
The only God is God.
