By hearing about Krishna the beauty of Krishna is revealed in your heart.
Hearing about Krishna takes one beyond Veda.
When you come in connection with Krishna, you realize: you’ve got everything. And actually that is something—beginning, middle and end of Krishna consciousness. Only the “everything” aspect increases on account of being infinite and dynamic.
When you are dealing with the Infinite there has to be ways to express the Infinite in apparently finite or condensed form to be accessible.
Through superior association our capacity for appreciation improves.
We know, you can’t fake hunger – you’re either hungry or you’re not. And if there is no hunger – there will be no appreciation.
To actually make progress in Krishna consciousness requires some atma-samarpanam, self-sacrifice, self-giving.
Just physical proximity does not mean association. If we are appreciating something real and substantial, then we will offer ourselves in service – then there is a real connection.
Service, the current of service brings illumination and revelation — then things become clear, real, substantial.
